Location:
Colonial Heights, Virginia. Assignment Length: 13 Weeks.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and provide evidence-based treatment to patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Document all therapy services accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety, and ethical practice guidelines
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
- Active Virginia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- CCC‑SLP certification or CFY eligibility
- Excellent interpersonal, clinical reasoning, and communication skills
