Success in this role includes managing all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions while providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations. New Pharmacy Technicians must complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to State Board of Pharmacy guidelines. Duties are initially restricted by a manager until completion of requirements, after which technicians can expand their clinical, technical and insurance knowledge through available tools and training.

- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Moving on foot to accomplish tasks, especially between work areas
- Using fingers or whole hand/arm to pick, pinching, typing, or otherwise working
- Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Bending body downward and forward at the waist
- Stooping to a considerable degree, requiring use of lower extremities and back muscles
- Expressing ideas by spoken word; receiving detailed oral instructions accurately
- Perceiving sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; receiving detailed information verbally
- Visual acuity: close visual focus for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts
- Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs; exerting up to 30 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs frequently
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Anticipated weekly hours: 20 hours

Pay range: $16.50 – $25.00 per hour
