Job Title: Operation Excellence Lean Technician


What we are looking for:

We are looking for an Operation Excellence Lean Technician for Dover Food Retail KAIZEN Fab shop to support Manufacturing Engineering dept with various projects.


What you will be responsible for in this role:

  • Fabricate Creform Flow rack, Carts
  • Calculate material and accessories requirement
  • Manage Creform Fab shop
  • Online research on different purchased items
  • Contact Vendor, Get quotation & Procure materials for Fab shop
  • Data Collection for logical design solutions.
  • Video tape regular & irregular operations.
  • Perform Time study & identify improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in KAIZEN activities
  • Train Productions associates on CREFORM build
  • Assist Engineers in Various projects
  • Oversee hourly associates in the building CREFORM products
  • Identify opportunities to improve work areas and in turn to design and build solutions from CREFORM materials.

  • What are the basic qualifications?

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 2+ years of relevant years of experience


    What are the preferred qualifications?

    • Mechanically inclined, innovative, and KAIZEN minded.
    • 2+ years of experience using construction tools and ability to read measuring tape


    To be a great fit for the role:

    • Ability to lift 50 pounds plus bending, twisting or lifting from awkward positions or in tight spaces, must be able to push and pull cases in excess of 200lbs to 800lbs repetitiously.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear.
    • The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, and/or kneel.
