About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of mechanical and electrical systems within our facilities. This position is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The technician will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they escape into costly repairs.

Working closely with the maintenance team, the role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Ultimately, the Maintenance Technician contributes to the overall productivity and safety of the workplace by maintaining equipment reliability and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar mechanical/electrical maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and machine troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, and assessment devices effectively.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and perform manual tasks in various environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards related to maintenance work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions using assessment instruments, gauges, and precision measuring tools.
• Repair or replace defective components, including wiring, mechanical parts, and other system elements, using hand tools and specialized equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory to support operational efficiency and compliance.
• Climb ladders and access elevated areas safely to inspect and service equipment as required.
