Senior Tax Associate

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and complex individual returns (1040s)
• Maintain and strengthen trusted client relationships
• Conduct tax research and assist with planning strategies
• Collaborate closely with senior staff in a team-focused environment
• Resolve IRS and state tax notices with accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax (CPA preferred, but not required)
• 2+ years of public accounting experience as a tax preparer
• Strong technical skills in tax preparation, review and research
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Ultra Tax, CCH Axcess or similar tax software.
• CPA and/or EA certification

Compensation:
$75,000-$95,000 per year
