• Serve as client’s trusted advisor, demonstrate industry knowledge, identify client issues and conflicts, and proactively communicate solution options.
• Manage staff on engagement deliverables (financial statements, tax returns, work papers, etc.); complete technical and strategic reviews as part of the final engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are met; ensure on‑time delivery and on‑budget.
• Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc.
• Understand the client’s organization, procedures and internal policies.
• Drive new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings, presentations, proposal development and cross‑serve proposals.
• Maintain multiple client relationships, engagements and special projects; manage and retain them.
• Participate in practice development activities that generate new business and cross‑serve opportunities.
• Develop overall engagement budget and consistently meet charge‑hour goals.
• Ensure billing and realization on assigned clients; explain variances.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectively.
• Foster a team environment; support management decisions and build a positive culture.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Active CPA or equivalent certification.
• Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Willingness to travel as required by clients and business needs.
• Proficiency in applicable technology.
