Our client, a well-established and growing construction organization, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a newly created, high-impact role based in Colorado Springs, CO. Location & ScheduleLocation:
Colorado Springs, CO (On-site)
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
CompensationBase pay range: $72,500.00/yr - $85,280.00/yr
On-site, non-exempt, 40 hours/week; $35.00 – $41.00 per hour

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with Work-In-Progress (WIP) reporting and variance analysis
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure GAAP compliance
- Support annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasting
- Reconcile AR/AP and maintain cash flow reporting
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and support tax compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams and mentor accounting staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Progressive accounting experience; construction industry experience preferred
- ERP and system implementation experience strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Sage 300, Power BI, and Timber scan
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
