Tax Senior Associate

• Complete all aspects of accounting, tax, and audit engagements for clients, including status updates to engagement managers and adherence to all quality control standards.
• Demonstrate understanding of the client’s business, including analysis and planning of client engagements.
• Adhere to engagement budget constraints and complete assigned tasks within the requested time, explaining variances when needed.
• Achieve charge hour goals.
• Review associates’ accounting, tax, or auditing work and provide constructive review points.
• Supervise associates on engagements (as appropriate).
• Train and mentor associate staff.
• Assist in the client billing process by supporting Managers or Directors (as needed).
• Develop knowledge in selected specialty practice areas.
• Leverage industry knowledge and business acumen to blend cross‑service opportunities into client engagements.
• Participate in practice development activities, such as membership in qualified organizations capable of referring potential engagements.
• Execute administrative duties as assigned.

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public accounting or a related field.
• CPA candidates preferred.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with applicable technology.
• Willingness to travel based on client and business needs.
