Senior Analyst - Transit Assets
The City of Colorado Springs is ready to welcome a Senior Analyst – Transit Assets for the Public Work division. As a Senior Analyst for this team, you will provide oversight of the Transit facilities program, which includes the transit facility and bus stop maintenance by monitoring the program and day to day tasks.
This is a special at-will position funded by a FTA grant received by Transit annually.

Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Annual Salary: $85,525.56 – $

- Create scopes of work and independent cost estimates
- Management and oversight of vendor contracts
- Oversee transit asset management, recording fixed asset acquisitions, dispositions and depreciation
- Transit asset inventory and accountability
- Support the Transit Asset Management plan
- Asset data management and reporting
- Manage capital planning
- Transit Information Technology project coordination and oversight
- Track and manage Information Technology requests
- Oversee work quality, training, instruction, and scheduling of personnel within the Asset Group
- Review and update policies and procedures

Candidate Qualifications Knowledge of- Asset management
- Contracting process
- Risk Management
- Budget implementation and management
- Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations
- Oversee, coordinate, and implement assigned projects
- Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related area of study.
- Five years of full-time, professional experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications- Facilities Capital Project Management experience
- Experience with contract compliance and quality assurance
- Experience creating and writing statements/scopes of work and project cost estimating
