Job DescriptionIgnite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented C2
BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to join our team! In this role you will become a member of the Parsons’ TEAMS NEXT support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2
BMC). This position requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.
- Working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding;
- Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists;
- Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration;
- Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution;
- Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners;
- Support and interact with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand);
- Develop reports, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Bachelors Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or Master Degree and 12+ years of experience;
- Secret clearance;
- Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines;
- Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements;
- Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS;
- Experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space based program and/or a DoD;
- MDA experience;
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.
Education Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree;
Must be a US citizen and be able to hold an active Security Clearance at the Secret Level.
Salary Range$100k - $130k
