I’m currently partnering with a leading home builder on a search for a Plans Reviewer/Estimator to join their team.

About the Role:

The Plans Reviewer/Estimator will support the Purchasing Department by reviewing and revising floor plans, coordinating permitting activity, managing plan revisions, and providing accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates. This role is a key bridge between design, purchasing, construction, and trade partners—ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality across the board.

• Review and revise residential floor plans, elevations, and construction details
• Manage permitting submissions and plan revisions with municipalities
• Prepare detailed take-offs, estimates, and bids
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth plan execution and cost accuracy
• Experience in homebuilding, construction estimating, or plan review
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and value-engineer solutions
• Proficient in construction documents, take-offs, and permitting requirements
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
