Part-Time Business Support Specialist I – Westside Community Center
Job Overview: In this position as a Business Support Specialist, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Westside Community Center. This role supports administrative efforts and requires high motivation, exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a keen sense of customer service.
Job Type: Part time, 20 hours per week

Budget Information: This position is subject to budget required furloughs in 2026 calendar year, and any subsequent approved furloughs.
Responsibilities- Complete timely and accurate data entry across various platforms.
- Provide guests excellent customer service and information about the Westside Community Center and its programs.
- Assist with center promotional materials including creating, managing, and distributing social media posts and general marketing materials.
- Utilize the registration system to enroll community members in activities and book room rentals.
- Perform complex cash handling functions in accordance with policies and procedures; collect cash and cash equivalents; reconcile cash collection.
- Modern office technology
- Proper English usage, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Outlook Calendar, Excel and Teams
- Achieve results with very little supervision
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Be dependable and detail-oriented
- Work in a team environment; excel with independent responsibilities
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade (high school diploma or GED).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with customer relations
- Experience with Smart Rec registration software
- Experience with cash handling and cash reconciliation
- Experience working in a community center environment
