Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled dental assistant to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. The dental assistant will assist the dentist during patient procedures, perform office and laboratory duties, and ensure efficient operation of the dental office.

• Our highly trained assistants make anywhere from $18-30+ anhour, depending on skills, reliability and experience.

• Assist the dentist during patient procedures, including preparing patients for treatment, handing instruments, and taking dental impressions
• Take and process dental X-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and care following dental procedures
• Manage patient records and document dental treatments
• Sterilize instruments and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized dental office
• Assist with laboratory duties, such as pouring and trimming models and fabricating temporary restorations, restoring implants, using intraoral scanner,
• Maintain dental supplies inventory and order new supplies when necessary
• Expanded duties include placing fillings, using intraoral scanner, fabricating temporaries and more as allowed by state law.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in computer skills and dental software

• Ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods of time
• Manual dexterity to manipulate dental instruments and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
