Surgical Assistant w​/IV Training Springs

Our office, Rocky Mountain Periodontal Specialists LLC, is seeking a talented Surgical Dental Assistant with IV experience to join our busy specialty practice.

We are looking for a skilled, patient‑focused team member to support our mission of providing world‑class specialty care. You will help the dentist by handling administrative tasks, ensuring excellent patient service, and managing the surgical assistant duties associated with IV therapy and postoperative care.

• Post‑operative patient assessment
• Set up and start IVs
• Inventory and track drugs kept in the office
• Screen phone calls from patients and doctor’s offices & review with doctors
• Support doctors on a limited basis in surgery as needed
• Prepare prescriptions for doctors to sign and e‑prescribe
• Initiate and follow up on medical consults to patient’s physicians as directed by our doctors
• Mail pre‑surgery information to patients
• Post‑surgical patient checks including suture removal when needed & coordinate future appointments

• OMFS experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate
• At least 1–2 years of surgical assistant experience; specialty is preferred
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non‑surgical tasks
• IV Certification, CPR, BLS, AED Certification
• Excellent communication, people skills, strong attention to detail
• Well‑organized, reliable, high school diploma
• Certificate from an accredited surgical assistant program (if required by law)
• Active state radiology license (if required by law)

Pay Range: $24,000 – $27,000 USD
