Position Purpose

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating original, powerful media for sermon series, major events, websites, and various church activities. The designer must seek to be a positive catalyst in cultivating a dynamic design environment within the team. They must be flexible and able to balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines. This person must be able to work well with others as an encouraging and supportive team member.

Responsibilities

and Expectations

• Receives projects and creates new designs, layouts, text, reformats files, etc.
• Receives assignments and completes them on the date agreed upon.
• Responsible for CWC branding vision, design, and consistency.
• Maintains appearance for websites, CWC apps, building & sign graphics, etc.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with overseer, peers, and overall church staff.
• Understands goals and communicates the status of projects.

Skills and Qualifications

• Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christand display Christ-centered behavior (treating people with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity always).
• Can us a Mac Computer
• Proficient in Mac OS X and Adobe design applications, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Dependable, consistent, leader-analyst who professionally promotes good communication.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and information.
• Active listening skillsto understand the needs and concerns of the staff and congregation.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse groups of people.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Familiarity with administrative tools and systemsto streamline operations.

Knowledgeable in Theology and Church Ministry

• A growing relationship with Jesus
• A solid foundation in biblical knowledge and theological principles.
• Understanding of the church’s mission, vision, and core values.

Ministry Experience

• Previous experience in church leadership, pastoral ministry, or a related field.

• Strong personal integrity and a lifestyle consistent with the scriptures.
• A servant-hearted approach to ministry and a genuine love for people.
• Humble, willing to receive correction, and actively seeks reconciliation.
