Schedule Your Packet Pick-Up August 6th - August 29th

Candidate packets will be available for pick-up at the designated election official’s office starting on August 6, 2025.

The office hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the following address:

Candidates must pick up their packets in person from the designated election official, Lanette DePaul. If Lanette is unavailable, you may speak with the Deputy Designated Election Official, Kari Frederick, who will have access to the packets and serve as the backup contact.

Completed petitions must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025.

To qualify as a candidate for the School District 49 Board of Education, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be a registered elector for at least twelve (12) consecutive months prior to the election and be a current resident of either school director district 1 or 4.
• Individuals who have been convicted of a sexual offense against a child are ineligible to run for school director.
• Those aspiring to be candidates for school board director must file a written notice of intention and a nomination petition in accordance with the law.

- Last day to file a nomination petition. (1-4-803(2),C.R.S.) (67 days before election) Last day for school director candidates to file a nomination petition with circulators' notarized affidavits, a notarized acceptance of nomination, and a written notice of intent to be a candidate. Colo.
