We are actively seeking Lecturer - Marketing (pool) to join our team. Pay Range$3,000 - $5,000 for a 3-credit hour course. Pay rate depends on the number and type of courses taught and the education level held by the lecturer. This position is exempt from FLSA overtime provisions.
Because this appointment is temporary, you will not be eligible for benefits such as paid vacation, medical, or retirement benefits. You may accrue sick leave at 0.034 hours per hour worked.

On-campus, online, or hybrid. Remote teaching opportunities may be available under certain conditions.
The College of Business and Administration at UCCS maintains a pool of Lecturers in Marketing for future temporary, non-tenure track positions. Appointments are part-time and semester-based. Courses may include principles of marketing, personal selling and sales management, retailing strategy, and international marketing, offered on-campus, online, or hybrid.
Essential Functions- Provides instruction to undergraduate/graduate students in-person and online.
- Develops and schedules student learning experiences to achieve learning outcomes.
- Creates evaluation tools to assess student progress.
- Familiar with learning management systems like Canvas.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the College of Business.
- Master’s degree in business administration or a related field is required.
- Terminal degree (PhD, DBA, JD) is preferred.
- At least one year of practice experience in marketing or a related field is required.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Interest or ability to teach online classes.
- Current engagement in professional activities is preferred.
