Mighty Oaks Preschool is hiring!

I’m in the process of expanding my small, half-day, nature-inspired preschool, and I will need two other lead preschool teachers to join me part-time starting next year! Location is near Union and Academy in Colorado Springs.

• Classes will be small with an average of 8 kids per class (ages 3-5). We spend a lot of time outdoors, even in the winter, so you’d want to be comfortable with that, and though you would have your own class, we would be working as a team of three (think start up situation).
• We are a UPK provider, so many will be in their Pre‑K year. We go through a state‑aligned curriculum which is mostly play‑ and nature‑based, and we do learn our letters, sounds and numbers. Total teaching time per week is 15 hours plus whatever prep/clean up is required (usually fairly minimal). We mostly follow D11 for all holidays and snow closures.

I hoping to have a commitment in the next couple of months in order to be ready for licensing and then we would start next August, so something to keep in mind.
