Assistant Teaching Professor – Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Assistant Teaching Professor will teach undergraduate courses and labs including Introduction to Robotics, Logic Circuits I & II, Microcomputer/Microprocessor Systems, C Programming, Signals and Systems, Circuits and Systems, Physical Electronics, etc. The position does not allow research during the academic year.

• Teach first‑ and second‑year undergraduate courses and labs (80% duty, 8 courses/24 semester hours per year).
• Courses may be in‑person, online, or hybrid.
• Develop new courses and curriculum.
• Guide undergraduate students in independent studies.
• Develop and teach distance courses.
• Advise undergraduate majors.
• Participate in departmental committees and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by the Chair.

• MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and at least four months of teaching experience as instructor of record in a U.S. academic setting;
  Verilog programming knowledge required.
• Ideal candidate:
  Ph.D., multi‑year teaching experience (lecture & lab) at the college level, experience with online course delivery, and multi‑year experience in digital system design using Verilog.

$69,000 – $77,000 per academic year (commensurate with experience and qualifications). Position is exempt from FLSA overtime provisions.
