Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Esthetics Instructor to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality instruction aligned with state board standards and BYSA's mission of empowerment and excellence. The ideal candidate brings both technical mastery and heart-centered mentorship to the classroom.

Key Responsibilities Instruction & Curriculum Delivery

Deliver assigned esthetics curriculum using provided lesson plans, Milady materials, and school-approved resources
Facilitate both theory and practical hands-on instruction in topics such as facials, waxing, skin analysis, makeup, and infection control
Adapt teaching style to meet diverse student learning needs
Demonstrate and supervise all services with safety, professionalism, and sanitation in mind

Student Engagement & Mentorship

Inspire, support, and guide students on their journey to becoming successful estheticians
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement in both verbal and written formats
Monitor and document student progress, attendance, and practical hour completion

Administrative & Compliance

Maintain accurate records in accordance with DPOS and Board of Cosmetology regulations
Support school compliance efforts through timely grading, student evaluations, and documentation
Attend required team meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Esthetics or Esthetics Instructor license in the state of Colorado
Minimum 2 years of verifiable industry experience in esthetics (spa, medical aesthetics, or solo practice)
Familiarity with Milady curriculum is preferred
Previous teaching or training experience is a plus, but not required
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Passionate about mentoring and developing new professionals in the field
Must be reliable, team-oriented, and aligned with BYSA values: empowerment, community, and growth

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
