As a Safety Specialists III at SNC are responsible for a range of technical work across HSE disciplines, focusing on engaging stakeholders, reducing risk, and maintaining related assigned HSE programs. You'll be working individually and in teams to develop, implement, and address employee and stakeholder concerns.

Your technical responsibilities will be to ensure program compliance to federal, state, and local HSE regulations and standards.

** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field of study, or 6 or more years safety experience in aerospace, military, aviation, or general industry
* Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
* Knowledgeable with a variety of occupational health & safety standards, EPA, OSHA, and NFPA regulations
* Demonstrated ability to conduct a job hazard analysis, site audits, and incident root cause analysis
* Fluency with data capture, data analytics, spreadsheets, and presentation
* ** An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
**** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Experience with DCMA INST 8210
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
* Certifications, including Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST)

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $74,581.13 - $. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
