Space Weapons, Tactics, and Training SME
K is seeking a Space Weapons, Tactics, and Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Team Lead to provide on-site support to Headquarters Combat Forces Command (HQ CFC) located on Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and execute USSF Tactics Review Board.
- Document, review, and track Tactics Improvement Proposals (TIPs).
- Support Mission Focused Working Groups (MFWGs).
- Coordinate USSF generated Air Force Tactics, Techniques and Procedures 3-1 and USSF Tactical Doctrine documentation.
- Organize, schedule, and attend Weapons and Tactics meetings with Space Delta Weapons Officers and Instructors.
- Organize, schedule, and attend the Tactics Analysis Team (TAT) event with SpOC Intelligence Directorate.
- Facilitate the analysis, identification, and prioritization of purposed Space Deltas Threat Priority Lists (TPLs).
- Liaise with Mission Area Teams and provide Subject Matter Expertise on current and future USSF capabilities.
- Analyze current and future capabilities to identify and resolve tactical deficiencies.
- Coordinate with SpOC divisions and Space Deltas to generate annual training objectives.
- Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.
- An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
- 3 years of experience directly relating to the job responsibilities.
- Firm understanding of space capabilities.
- Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, CFC, STARCOM or equivalent.
- Experience with providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations.
- Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Accustomed to professionally working with military senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.
- Experience with US Space Force weapon systems and missions.
- Experience with Joint- or Service-level weapons and tactics development.
- BA/BS degree (5+ years of relevant experience may substitute).
- Task Management Tool proficiency.

Minimal 0-20%. - Working Hours:
Standard.
Basic Compensation: $115,000 – $130,000 (Colorado only).
Additional Compensation: K may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation such as sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
