ISR team is looking for a proven and experienced lead test engineer to support the Peace Krypton (PK) program.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, including test strategy, test design, and test scripts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, software engineering, and hardware engineering, to ensure that systems and products meet customer requirements and industry standards
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test procedures, and test reports
- Lead a team of test engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure that test activities are completed on time and to a high standard
- Develop and maintain test environments, including test beds, test fixtures, and test tools
- Be available and willing to travel internationally to support test events
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand test requirements and ensure that test activities meet their needs
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase test efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior test engineers, including training and mentoring
- Participate in test process improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes

On this team, you will collaborate with a diverse, geographically separated team of technical professionals including software developers, system engineers, and aircraft and hardware engineers. You will work with cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic, mission‑focused environment.
Who you are- An experienced Senior Test Engineer-Lead responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of the PK Ground and Air systems and products.
- A candidate with a strong background in system test engineering (Software and Hardware), with expertise in test planning, test design, and test execution.
- You will be responsible for leading a team of test engineers, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring that systems and products meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Available and willing to travel internationally to support test events and work closely with global customers and partners.
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification
- Strong programming and scripting skills, including languages such as C# and Power Shell
- Knowledge of DO-178C - Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification
- Proven experience in leading and managing test teams, including setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources
- Experience with test process improvement, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
- Ability to develop and manage test budgets, including estimating costs and managing expenses
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001, IEEE 1012, and AS9100
- Experience with virtual/converged systems and technologies

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
