A leading technology company seeks an R&D Technical Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be part of the NPI Engineering team that performs electrical, software, and mechanical activities, working between R&D and Manufacturing to design and implement the manufacturing processes for new products. R&D Technical Coordinator Responsibilities- As an NPI Technician on the team, you will collaborate with NPI Engineers, NPI Technicians, and R&D Engineers to:
- Work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment.
- Turn on and troubleshoot PCA’s.
- Build/assemble full instrument prototypes.
- Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes.
- Troubleshoot and repair prototypes.
- Build, troubleshoot, and maintain test racks containing electronic test and measurement equipment.
- Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity and collect characterization data.
- Help to maintain the NPI Lab environment.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment, or equivalent.
- An Associate’s Degree in Electronics, or higher-level education or certifications in electronics, is preferred.
- Classroom or work experience using electronic test equipment, specifically Oscilloscopes and Probes
- General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing.
- Experience in electronic mechanical assembly, including torque drivers.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively.
