Space C2 Analyst
OverviewK is seeking a Space Command and Control (C2) Analyst to provide on‑site support to Headquarters Combat Forces Command (HQ CFC) located on Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. A strong candidate can provide operational C2 expertise for space mission areas.
Key Responsibilities- Support
Functional Area
Managers (FAMs) and Weapon System Lead for C2 operations units, USSPACECOM’s National Space Defense Center C2, and associated capabilities. - Support the operations, maintenance and sustainment of C2 operational forces and capabilities.
- Track development and testing of capabilities developed by Space Systems Command (SSC), and commercial or government capabilities.
- Travel may be required for limited durations to support customer events.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (U.S. citizen).
- 5+ years of experience related to space command and control systems (e.g., space command and control systems, Atlas, NDPP, Kobayashi Maru, Space Surveillance Network, SPEARR/SPADOC).
- BA/BS degree.
- Headquarters experience in the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, Combatant Command, CFC, Space Systems Command or equivalent.
- Operational Acceptance experience.
- Testing experience.
- Enterprise Task Management Tool proficiency.
- Experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations.
- Ability to multi‑task and produce high‑quality products in a high‑tempo, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working professionally with military senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.
Hours:
40 hours per week. On‑site location. Travel: minimal (0-20%).
Salary range: $110,000–$120,000 (Colorado only).
