Position OverviewQineti
Q seeks Payload Processing Operation Specialists (PPOS) to support the Office of Space Launch (OSL) for the NRO. The role involves technical, operational, maintenance, and sustainment support for payload processing systems within OSL. Candidates should have at least 5 years of payload processing experience, understanding of payload processing systems, launch site preparations, and NRO Satellite Vehicle payload processing interfaces. Responsibilities may include:
- Assist in overseeing and integrating payloads into launch vehicles
- Ensure payloads are properly configured, tested, and compatible with launch systems and interfaces
- Assist with hardware checks and interfaces between payloads and launch vehicles
- Perform pre-flight testing of payload systems
- Collaborate with launch teams and engineers on calibration and testing of instrumentation
- Support launch operations and data analysis
- Support mission planning activities
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- At least 2 years of NRO experience
- TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
- 8+ years of experience
- 5+ years of NRO experience
- Master's degree in a STEM field
