At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
Your impactLocation Nationwide - near any Jacobs office
This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates.
At Jacobs, we’re transforming how complex facilities are designed, coordinated, and delivered through integrated digital delivery.
As a Senior BIM Specialist, you will be a senior technical contributor within our Digital Delivery organization supporting large, multidisciplinary data center, mission-critical, and advanced manufacturing projects. You’ll combine deep BIM expertise with practical knowledge of engineering design, construction documentation, constructability, and multidisciplinary coordination to help project teams deliver highly coordinated, accurate, and buildable designs.
This is not solely a BIM management or standards position. You will remain hands‑on in project delivery, developing and reviewing models and construction documents while providing technical leadership to designers, engineers, and BIM professionals. You may support multiple projects and project scopes simultaneously and will work closely with structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, process, and other disciplines.
You’ll help establish how BIM is executed on projects, solve complex modeling and coordination challenges, drive model and document quality, mentor other team members, and continually improve the tools and workflows used to deliver some of our most technically demanding projects.
