* The Role:

** Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
** What You'll Do
*** Lead validation and qualification activities for new equipment, molds, vision systems, and manufacturing processes.
* Coordinate engineering builds and sample evaluations to validate and qualify new methods, processes, and equipment.
* Create, update, and release manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process records, and related SAP-controlled documents.
* Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and fixtures to improve operational performance and product quality.
* Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and increased efficiency.
* Evaluate and update manufacturing routings, cycle times, scrap factors, and master cycle sheets to ensure process accuracy and consistency.
* Implement creative, data-driven solutions to resolve manufacturing challenges and prevent future issues.
* Assist with integrating manufacturing equipment into the Entegris network and digital infrastructure.
* Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and technical problem-solving.
* Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to mentors and key stakeholders.

What We Seek
* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
* Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and recommend improvements.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; CAD experience preferred.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing projects on schedule.
* Ability to provide regular progress updates and communicate project status effectively to mentors and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:  Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering  Graduation Year 2027 or 2028    
** Eligibility:
*** Must be a currently enrolled student
* Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
* Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

The ability to work inside clean rooms, wearing cleanroom garments including coveralls, hoods, masks, gloves and shoe covers. Wearing personal protective equipment:
The ability to safely and effectively use equipment like safety glasses, gloves and shoes.
