Department Summary:

MITRE Technology & Engineering’s Modeling and Analysis (M&A) Technical Division brings together researchers, engineers, mission specialists, and systems experts to translate advanced research into operationally relevant solutions. The Technical Division delivers differentiated capabilities across operational analysis, complex systems, modeling and simulation engineering, Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) experimentation, intelligence analysis, and organizational and operational performance.

M&A seeks a visionary technical leader to serve as Chief Engineer, Experimentation. This highly visible role will work with the division leadership team to define and drive the technical strategy, execution, and application of HITL experimentation including tabletop exercises, wargaming and simulation experimentation (SIMEX) to support national security and public sector missions. In this role, the CE will be a division leader that provides a shared capability in experimentation design, stakeholder and participant engagement, and development of modeling, simulation, and supporting tools.
