Job Title

Teller/Banker (Briargate) – Security Service Federal Credit Union

• Deliver the very first impression of the credit union to members.
• Become an expert on Security Service products and services to help members reach their financial goals.
• Build and nurture long‑lasting relationships by promoting checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and insurance services.
• Offer only products and services that meet the member’s needs and contribute to their financial success.
• Support the credit union in becoming America’s Best by meeting sales goals, proactively identifying cross‑sell opportunities, and educating members about digital services.
• Provide “universal” service and be cross‑trained in both teller and banker functions to better serve members.
• Complete any other job‑related duties needed to support the credit union’s vision, purpose, and values.

Pay Starting at $21.00/hr. + based on relevant experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of retail banking, cash handling, customer service and sales, or comparable experience.
• Customer‑centric attitude focused on delivering great experiences and maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a goal‑driven mindset.
• Proficiency in computer software including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to focus in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule during normal business hours (no Sunday work).
• Possible travel to and from other branch locations for work or training.
• If required, completion within 180 days of a federal registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) under the S.A.F.E. Act and compliance with all related requirements and background checks.

• A desire to learn and grow within the credit union.
• Prior experience with banking or financial institution core systems and platforms.
• Experience recommending products and services that meet customers’ needs.
• Ability to ask high‑impact questions to discover needs members may not be aware of.
• Commitment to ensuring members are aware of available products to save them time and money.
