Position: THERAPIST (LCSW)

Responsibilities

Cedar Springs Hospital is seeking a talented and dynamic Inpatient Lead Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! Full‑time days, 8‑hour shift, one weekend shift per week.

Minimum Salary: $75,000 – $80,000. Retention sign‑on bonus of $5,000 – $8,000 depending on experience and licensure.

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients within the acute care setting.
  • Primary responsibility for treatment and discharge planning, and interface with community agencies and referral sources throughout the client’s course of treatment.
  • Oversight of all social work functions for acute patients and staff, including psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, active treatment, and discharge planning.
  • Supervise MSW interns and provide additional leadership within the clinical department.
  • Onboard new staff within the department.

Qualifications Requirements

Strong organizational and communication skills; working knowledge of a personal computer; ability to maintain confidentiality; competent in completing required clinical paperwork according to established protocol and regulatory agency requirements; ability to maintain professional and appropriate boundaries with clients and families; ability to act professionally in high‑stress situations.

Education / Experience

Master’s degree (MSW) or LCSW, licensed in the State of Colorado. Four years of clinical experience required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; full range of body motion including handling and physical restraint of patients; able to perform CPR and first aid; able to work rotating schedules; able to drive a vehicle if necessary; must be able to speak, read, and write; emotional stability necessary to perform essential functions; vision and hearing sufficient to perform essential functions.
