Schedule: 4 days per week | 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM - (3 month contract to start)
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay: $20-21/ hour
Key Responsibilities
- Collect patient assessment data such as height, weight, vital signs, chief complaints, symptoms, and current medications
- Prepare patients for provider evaluations by obtaining specimens, positioning patients for exams, and assisting during exams and procedures
- Maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and lab spaces in a clean and safe manner; restock supplies as needed
- Assist with laboratory procedures, including urine collection, blood draws, specimen preparation, and accurate labeling per provider orders
- Document patient information in the medical record, including treatments, medication refills, test results, and patient concerns
- Process prescriptions, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed
- Help manage patient flow to ensure timely appointments while assisting with phones and front-desk support as needed
- Schedule patients for injections and infusions
- Order medical supplies and medications and manage inventory (check-in/check-out)
- Perform diagnostic testing procedures per clinic protocols
