Job Details:

• Work four 9-hour days with rotating day off

• Call schedule averaging 8-10 days per month

• One weekend call shift per month required

• Weeknight call coverage from 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM averaging 4-5 weeknights per month

• 30-minute call response time required

• Holiday call requirements as determined by schedule availability

• Act as circulator/monitor for catheterization lab patients

• Monitor vital signs and assist with preparation and administration of cardiac medications

• Work with 2-6 cases per day on average in 2 catheterization lab suites

• Care for patients with NSTEMI, STEMI, and TAVR workups

• Must have catheterization lab experience, cardiac monitoring skills, EKG rhythm interpretation, and cardiac drug knowledge

• Work with EPIC charting system, balloon pumps, Impella devices, and catheterization lab equipment

• May float to Interventional Radiology if experienced (located within same department)

• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS

• Hospital-provided scrubs

• BSN not required

• Must maintain valid license and submit verification

• Orientation provided for catheterization lab procedures

The facility provides advanced cardiac care services including emergency interventions and scheduled procedures, with cases typically running from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM followed by on-call coverage. The organization maintains modern equipment and technology to support complex cardiac procedures and emergency interventions.
