Part Time Room Attendant – Marriott Colorado Springs

Position at Pyramid Global Hospitality, located at the Colorado Springs Marriott, near the Rocky Mountains and downtown Colorado Springs. This role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Marriott/Pyramid Global Hospitality standards; scheduling varies by hotel needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming per brand standards, including proper uniform and name tag.
• Comply with Marriott/Pyramid Global Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
• Collect soiled linens for laundering, make beds, and replenish room supplies.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager; may disassemble furniture for deep cleaning as needed.
• Deep cleaning tasks may include changing AC filters, cleaning coils, touching up paint, and rehanging doors.
• Clean a room in around 35 minutes and perform refresh in about 7 minutes after property training.
• Assist in ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive and personalized service.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate well within the team.

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
• Work as part of a team to maintain hotel cleanliness; keep work cart orderly and stocked.
• Proper utilization of equipment, supplies, and guest amenities; thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas.
• Daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following Green Program standards.
• Practice safety standards and report hazards (e.g., broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, broken locks).
• Respect for guests’ property; responsible care of equipment.
• Arrive on time per posted schedule; maintain accurate time records and room issuance standards.
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and coworkers; perform other duties as requested by Floor Supervisor.
• Weekend availability required; previous hotel experience preferred.

• Housekeeping experience is desirable.
• Engaging, friendly, and positive personality.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and to move, reach, and navigate with equipment up to 100 lbs in tight spaces.
• Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.

The compensation for this position is $17.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
