At Blue Ocean Robotics we develop, produce and sell autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for service applications across a range of market verticals. OurUVD robot is an award-winning mobile robot for disinfection, using UV-light, in several segments.
The roleWe are looking for a Robot Specialist for UVD Robots (Blue Ocean Robotics) in the US, Colorado Springs.
Your main responsibilities will be:- Provide technical service to UVD robot customers both remotely and on-site as required, building a partnership with the customer and taking care of their UVD robot success.
- Participate in training for customers and partners remotely, on-site, and at Blue Ocean Robotics office in Colorado Springs.
- Manage, troubleshooting and resolving support and service requests from UVD robot customers via email, phone and on-sites.
- Process incoming inquiries and prepare service-related resolutions in a timely manner.
- Participate in trade fairs, customer training courses, and temporary robot installations at exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
- Ship & receive parts from our service center in Colorado Springs and participate in its operations supporting the US market.
- Deliver technical the market to the product development team and collaborate to resolve technical issues observed in the product.
- Support the installation and integration of UVD robots at customer locations in the Americas, remotely via UVD robots or physically.
- Perform yearly maintenance visits at customers, making sure their robots are operating smoothly and solving their tasks.
- Provide regional sales support as needed, collaborating with the regional sales team to understand customer requirements.
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in information technology, Technical Support, Network administration, Electronics Technology, or Robotics.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in networking, robotics and electronics.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Customer service orientation: Strong skills in handling customer inquiries, providing support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for training, presentations and collaboration with teams.
- Teamwork and collaboration: Ability to work well with diverse teams, including sales and product development.
Adaptability: Flexibility to handle various tasks and adapt to different working environments and situations. - Organizational skills: Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Analytical thinking: Strong analytical skills to provide valuable feedback for product improvements.
- Systems skills and experience with ROS, Linux, Jira, Confluence and similar are considered beneficial
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel, particularly in the Americas region.
- Team leadership or site management experience:Prior experience in team leadership or site management responsibilities is considered advantageous.
- Based in the USA, ideally in the Colorado Springs area.
