Dev Ops Engineer-III role at Rapid Strategy

We are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer-III to lead infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and system optimization. This senior-level role involves designing scalable and secure Dev Ops solutions and mentoring junior engineers. The candidate will have experience integrating modern cloud platforms and enforcing security best practices. This role requires an active TS/SCI and can be performed in Colorado Springs, MD, Reston, or Washington DC.

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and deployment.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and automated workflows.
• Optimize cloud resources and maintain Kubernetes/Docker container orchestration.
• Implement and enforce security best practices for Dev Ops workflows.
• Lead root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews for incidents.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development and operations teams.

• Bachelor s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Dev Ops engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI).
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with security tools and processes, including vulnerability scanning.
