Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hands-on, self-motivated Dev Ops Engineer to support and manage our dedicated benchmarking and ISV lab environments. This role will oversee physical and virtual infrastructure, including Linux systems, containers, virtual machines, networks, and storage, with occasional travel to Colorado Spring Office for onsite system access and maintenance.
You will be a key enabler for high-performance benchmarking, AI workloads, and ISV testing, working closely with engineers and partners to ensure reliable and secure access to lab environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage a fleet ofLinux-based servers, including provisioning, monitoring, and patching
- Deploy and managevirtual machines (VMs)andcontainers(Docker/K8s), supporting diverse benchmarking workloads
- Configure and maintainnetwork infrastructure, including IP address management, routing, VLANs, and firewall rules
- Set up, maintain, and optimizestorage systems, including object, block, and NFS
- Coordinate and manage secureuser accessto lab systems and software environments
- Collaborate with internal teams to supportISV testing, performance benchmarks, and development efforts
- Own lab health, includinghardware lifecycle, physical troubleshooting, and environmental monitoring
- Travel toColorado lab siteas needed for hardware installation, maintenance, and validation
- Document procedures, topologies, and system configurations
- Support Dev Ops tooling and automation effortsusing CI/CD pipelines where applicable
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ yearsof hands-on experience with:
- Linux system administration
- Networking(routing, subnets, firewalls, VLANs)
- Virtualization(KVM, VMware, or similar)
- Containers(Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
- Hardware troubleshooting(x86 servers, switches, cabling)
- Strong experience withshell scripting, basic automation, and infrastructure management tools
- Ability to workindependently, troubleshoot complex systems, and manage multiple priorities
- Hands-on withstorage constructs(RAID, NFS, LUNs, object stores)
- Willingness and ability totravel to Coloradoas required
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience withbenchmarking environmentsorISV certification labs
- Experience withDev Ops tooling(Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, etc.)
- Exposure toAI/ML workloads, HPC systems, or GPU-based systems
- Hands-on withstorage, or similar storage platforms
Salary Range for this role: $130,000 - $160,000
