Position: Senior Network Administrator with Security Clearance
Overview Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers.

Summary:

The Sr. Network Administrator will lead or supervises in the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

* Leads various Tier I and Tier II service desk duties.
* Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN/WAN and other network systems.
* Supervise and mentor junior network administrators and service desk personnel.
* Perform network performance tuning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
* Conduct network testing and evaluation to identify and eliminate issues and improve efficiency.
* Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
* Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure network security and compliance with organizational policies.
* Manage and support firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and other network hardware/software.
* Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
* Monitor network usage and performance using appropriate tools and generate reports for management. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
* Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing and switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
* Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
* Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage service desk operations.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

* At least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
* IAT Level II Certification
* Experienced with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
* Must have active TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience working in federal or defense environments.
* Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops , containerization, and automation tools
