Northrop Grumman Space Systems-Missile Defense Integration offers an excellent opportunity for a Sr Principal Cyber Systems Engineer - Cyber Tools Integration Specialist (25-572) to join our team of talented and diverse professionals. Located in Colorado Springs, CO, this role is vital in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels. This position does not provide relocation assistance and requires on-site work with no remote options.

Position Overview:

The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2

BMC) program is a crucial part of the Missile Defense System. It is an essential operational system that allows the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defense operations systematically, monitor the battle collectively, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapons systems to meet global and regional mission objectives. C2

BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities that enable an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both globally and regionally to improve performance. C2

BMC is vital for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate current and future missile defense system capabilities. As a Cyber Tools Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for integrating and maintaining essential cybersecurity tools and ensuring they work well within the overall system environment. We are currently working on integrating Tanium and are looking for the right person to support that development and integration.

Essential Functions:

* Experience with Tanium in air-gapped or classified environments

* Integrating, configuring, and automating the installation of Tanium with the existing Cyber Tools set on the C2

BMC system as a replacement for our current Big Fix Server

* Verifying that Tanium complies with contractual requirements

* Documenting the installation process and providing deployment instructions for Tanium to the C2

BMC Enterprise

* Installing, deploying, and unit testing various Cyber Tools such as:
- ACAS - Arc Sight - Delinea - ESS - Axway Repeater
* Responder for Windows MFA in the National Team (NT) labs, the C2

BMC Testbed (CTB), and Operations

* Creating and validating installation instructions for Cyber Tools and Vendor Patches

* Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and managing and addressing any Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs) related to the Cyber Tools.

* Collaborating with local Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) to ensure adherence to relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations

* Collaborating with various C2

BMC teams to ensure compatibility and seamless integration of Cyber Tools within the larger system

* Document and verify all installation and configuration steps for labs and operational deliverables

* Providing feedback to Cyber Leadership and engineers to enhance cybersecurity tools and processes
