Senior Database Architect

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 years experience with a Bachelors, 6 years with a Masters, 3 years with a PhD, 12 years with a HS Diploma
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• 3+ years or more experience in writing and tuning SQL queries.
• 3+ years or more experience designing and implementing database structures.
• 3+ years or more of SQL coding / scripting experience.
• Able to work flexible schedule/weekends if needed.
• Experience with SQL (Structured Query Language).

• 1 year experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• 1 year experience creating issues in Gitlab.
• 1 year experience code management with Git.
• Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program.
• Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework.

Peraton is seeking a Senior Database Architect to join our team supporting a large-scale national security credentialing system in a complex, dynamic environment. The candidate will design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security. Must be able to work on site in Colorado Springs, CO at least 3 days per week

• Developing SQL reporting queries.
• Troubleshooting database issues.
• Database performance tuning.
• SQL statement tuning.
• Reviewing and implementing database design changes.
• Coding (procedures, functions, packages, triggers, etc.).
