Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator to join a federal program out of the Colorado Springs, CO area. The SQL Database Administrator will design, optimize and maintain database systems that support critical applications. This role requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance and is fully on-site.
Responsibilities- Develop and optimize SQL reporting queries to support business and application needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Perform database performance tuning and SQL statement optimization
- Review and implement database design changes for scalability and reliability
- Write and maintain SQL code, including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
- 3+ years of professional experience writing/ tuning SQL queries
- Experience in IT delivery and/or operations
- SQL coding and scripting experience required
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration and SQL
- Experience supporting large-scale mission critical federal programs
- Must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in related field

Compensation- Salary Range:
Between $120,000 - $145,000 depending on experience - Comprehensive Benefits:
