Location: Colorado Springs, CO | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI – SAP Eligible

OverviewDark Star Intelligence is seeking JM Security Support Specialist:
Provides classification and policy support for Special Access Program (SAP) mission systems at HQ SpOC. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining Security Classification Guides (SCGs), evaluating classification issues, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with security protocols and alignment with threat assessments and program requirements.
- Provide comprehensive staff support including task response, document review and development, training plan validation, and SAP policy integration
- Develop, review, and update Special Access Program (SAP) Security Classification Guides (SCGs) for current and future mission systems; provide input and recommendations based on current threat and CPI assessments
- Provide comments and recommendations on classification concerns related to SAP mission areas and Programs of Record (PoRs); coordinate proposed updates with HQ SpOC/S8Z
- Active TS/SCI security clearance; SAP eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and updating Security Classification Guides (SCGs) for SAP and other controlled programs.
- Familiarity with DoD classification standards, Critical Program Information (CPI) assessment, and SAP security processes.
- Knowledge of security policy coordination with government stakeholders and experience supporting PoRs and classified space programs desired
