Harris Space Superiority group, we have an opening for a Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The role operates in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment with diverse assignments and a collaborative team setting.

This position supports the test effort for the development of multiple ground-based mission systems and operations centers from program inception to test verification and deployment. The Specialist Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities, coordinating with internal organizations and subcontractors for full integration and test of the mission system. The test engineer will be a point of contact for the government customer for test planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan.

Essential Functions:

• Professionally apply knowledge of the job area
• Implement strategic goals established by project leadership
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams, customers, and vendors
• System Integration and Test engineer responsible for assembly, integration, and testing of System Under Test (SUT) software and hardware components
• Execute all levels of testing (Integration, System and Acceptance)
• Configure and maintain production-like test environments
• IT&C support overseeing subcontractors
• System Level I&T for developed control processing
• Testing and troubleshooting issues
• Document issues into bug tracking tools
• Develop test plans, test cases, and testing scripts for manual and automated testing; maintain testing records; document and report discovered problems
• Experience with:
  Magic Draw/MBSE and Egg Plant
• Experience in Agile & Dev Ops methodology and culture
• Proficient at JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent)
• Advocate for test priorities in daily scrum meetings and sprint planning
• Clear and concise documentation of software issues
• Collaborate closely with the software development team
• Analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility
• Lead test development and peer review activities with minimal supervision; ensure complete and accurate test coverage; create tests to…
