Work Overview

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.

What You Will Do
  • Responsible for installation and configuration of Linux and Windows hardware platforms from OS up to C2

    BMC developed applications, documenting and verifying all installation and configuration steps for delivery to the customer.
  • Supervisory duties for up to 12 direct reports.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in integrating separate software components into a single system.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows system administration, including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance required prior to start date (SCI eligibility).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Familiarity with Java.
  • Experience working with the Missile Defense Agency and on the C2

    BMC Program.
  • Scrum Master experience.

Salary and Compensation

The salary range for this role is $107,500 - $204,500. The range represents all experience levels and includes consideration for role, function, responsibilities, education, and key skills. Annual short‑term and long‑term incentive programs may be available depending on level and collective‑bargaining agreement.
