Business Intelligence Developer (Tableau/SQL)

Hybrid Colorado Springs, CORole Overview We’re looking for amotivated, collaborative Data Engineer/BI Developer to support dashboard creation, data cleanup, and reporting enhancements across multiple business areas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment,proactively seeks out work, and enjoys working directly with users to improvedata visibility and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Dashboard Development:

Build and enhance Tableau dashboards based on ad hoc requests or evolving business needs

Create dashboards from new data sources or improve existing ones (e.g., adding filters, updating visuals)
Ensure dashboards are scalable and require minimal maintenance

Workflow &

Collaboration:

Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) across different areas

Participate in shared Teams chat for ticketing, escalation, and self-assignment

Collaborate with the BI Manager to prioritize backlog items in Azure Dev Ops based on impact and feasibility

Support enterprise tools like Service Now (subject to change)
Data Integration & Maintenance:

Assist with remapping pipelines due to mergers or changes in semantic environments

Help scale manual processes, especially in Finance Contribute to cleanup efforts in high-demand areas like Credit Cards Tools & TechnologiesSQLTableau

Azure Dev Ops Service Now  (currently used for ticketing)
Ideal Candidate Profile Team player with a proactive mindset—asks where help is needed rather than waiting for assignments

Comfortable working directly with end users to gather requirements and feedback

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Willing to grow and adapt in a dynamic environment

Cultural fit is highly valued—would prefer a junior candidate with strong collaboration skills over a senior candidate lacking them

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
