Fully Remote (U.S. Based)
Salary:
Up to $135,000 Base Salary
Must be able to work collaboratively with teams across Eastern and Central time zones
Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing data team responsible for building and maintaining modern data solutions that drive business intelligence, analytics, and operational decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to work with large-scale data sets, cloud technologies, and modern data platforms in a highly collaborative environment.
What You'll Be Doing- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest and transform data from a variety of internal and external sources.
- Build reliable, high-quality datasets that support reporting, analytics, and business initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including analysts, engineers, and business teams, to deliver data solutions.
- Develop and optimize data models within cloud-based data warehouse environments.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
- Support both batch and near real-time data processing workflows.
- Contribute to data governance, security, and compliance initiatives.
- 4+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience working with modern data technologies such as Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Informatica IDMC, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Experience supporting large-scale customer, operational, or transactional data environments.
- Exposure to API integrations and third-party data sources.
- Experience supporting analytics, forecasting, personalization, or data science initiatives.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only
- Ability to work remotely within the United States
- Comfortable collaborating with teams across EST and CST time zones
