The Work The Global Net Ops Engineer III automates networking infrastructure using Python, Ansible, and Bash, manages configuration via tools like Gitlab, and supports C2

BMC program operations within an Agile team. This role writes formal processes for network delivery, solves moderate-complexity technical problems, and assists with real world events that may include nights and weekends.
• Automate networking tasks using Python, Ansible, and Bash for operational infrastructure
• Manage configuration and process delivery via configuration management tools (e.g., Gitlab)
• Write and maintain formal processes and procedures for network operations
• Collaborate in Agile teams to plan work per customer requirements and contractual agreements
• Troubleshoot moderate-complexity network issues with limited supervision, including real world event support

Basic Qualifications3+ years of related experience, or a post-secondary degree/training in a related discipline

Must hold an 8570 Compliant Certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, LISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.)Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance Must be a US Citizen with a valid US passport

Must be able to travel to alternate work locations for job duties and deployments

Must demonstrate effective communication skills, including excellent writing and presentation abilities using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently on large field projects

Should have a 4‑year college level understanding of IT Infrastructure and Computer Science concepts and technologies

Must have experience with scripting/programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Power Shell) and cursory knowledge of orchestration tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Desired Skills Conceptual understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware, Virtual Box, and Hyper‑VSolid understanding of networking devices and concepts, including routing, switching, and firewalls
