Job Description:

• Assist attorney in preparation of immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions
• Draft, review, and prepare legal documents for visa types such as E-1, E-2, E-3, H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, I-140, PERM Labor Certification (ETA-9089), AOS (Adjustment of Status), N-400 Naturalization filings, and family-based Adjustment of Status filings
• Manage a caseload of visa matters utilizing case management software
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding procedural and case processing issues
• Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing and RFE Responses
• Draft petitions, applications, and specialized support letters detailing eligibility for visa classification
• Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of visa petitions
• Conduct legal research on immigration regulations and procedures
• Review and approve client billing under supervision of partner or attorney
• Work closely in team environment, while building knowledge of firm and client processes
• Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the firm’s workflow

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); 3 years of experience in a professional immigration environment preferred
• Demonstrated client service focus
• Excellent oral, writing, research, organizational, and proofreading skills
