• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors on orders, deliveries, and shipping schedules, and resolve any issues or discrepancies, including return material authorizations (RMAs).
• Support purchase planning by liaising with project managers and engineers, assist in developing cost ROMs, and submit work orders.
• Collaborate with internal buyers to obtain vendor quotes.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, contracts, finance) and external stakeholders (suppliers/vendors).
• Maintain active communication with suppliers/vendors regarding order issues, configurations, and technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and laws governing supply chain activities.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify improvement areas and prepare reports for management.
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues such as delays, shortages, or quality problems.
• Communicate with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Utilize problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma required.
• Associate's Degree in a technical/scientific discipline preferred.

• 7+ years of general full‑time work experience required.
• 5+ years of directly related experience required.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Procurement required.
• Experience with government contracts under the FAR and DFARS preferred.
• Experience with supply‑chain software and procurement tools preferred.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess a minimum DoD‑issued Secret clearance.

• Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements while using a computer or measuring tools.
• Dexterity to see fine print and use hand and precision measuring tools.
• Adherence to safety protocols when working in areas requiring PPE (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel‑toed shoes).
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time.
