Join our dynamic team at HHI Corporation as a Construction Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in managing projects up to $40 million across the Western USA. Reporting to Senior Project Managers, you will ensure the quality of work, compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and company policies, and the timely completion of projects. Responsibilities- Lead project staff in the completion of construction projects.
- Organize and oversee job site administration and field supervision.
- Create and submit project-related invoices.
- Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Develop, monitor, update, and communicate the project schedule and its revisions.
- Manage the direct labor force and maintain labor relations.
- Oversee subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination with other trades, and payments.
- Coordinate cost-progress targets with production.
- Ensure a safe and secure job site environment.
- Identify and resolve project changes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with owners, design professionals, building officials, local businesses, and emergency services.
- Manage detailed procedures for the submittal, review, coordination, approval, and distribution of shop drawings and samples.
- Maintain all project engineering files related to subcontract and bid package records, plans, specifications, changes, clarifications, and as-built documents.
- Review vendor schedules of values and prepare the general schedule of values.
- Manage the periodic requisition procedure for review, submittal, and payment.
- Expedite vendor estimates and proposals and prepare appropriate company estimates and proposals.
- Evaluate subcontractor payment requisitions relative to actual work performed.
- Coordinate on-site activities with the corporate office.
- B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (test will be given to evaluate proficiency).
- Experience with Bluebeam.
- Excellent plan and specification reading skills.
- Well-developed organizational skills.
- Honest and dependable.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Must pass government security clearance standards.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen test if hired.
- Good driving record and valid license, insurable through the company.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in Federal government or commercial/industrial construction project management and estimating preferred.
- LEED Training / Corps Of Engineers Training preferred.
- Experience in Sage Project Management preferred.
- Experience in AutoCAD preferred.
- Scheduling knowledge – Primavera P6 experience preferred.
